VideoXLink is developed to take cutting edge IP technology to television remote production, contribution, and distribution. It is delivered with advanced functions for transmission especially developed for live broadcasting. The XLink protocol simplifies and secures the setup and configuration, so that no deep IT knowledge is needed. VideoXLink will maximize your investment on a daily basis as it offers total flexibility together with all VideoXLink systems to be full duplex and simultaneous encoding and decoding.
H.264, H.265 and VC5 are implemented as standard, which enables you to decode in SDI or NDI by choice. If you wish to change codec, you can do it by the next frame!
We're encoding full HD signals to 10 bit 4:2:2 in just a few milliseconds.
No need to worry about drifting audio - we have made sure it's always synced, whether you use PCM or compressed audio. Support for 16 audio channels is enabled from start.
Already from the start, the XLink was built for using Internet as its primary connection. Of course, we still fully supports transmission over closed networks.
By using our multi-camera configuration, we guarantee that you don't have to compromise anything in your REMI remote camera workflow.
Our products are transmitting video signals in Ultra-low latency - FEC and resending included!
Let us introduce you to the XLink Layer 2 Data Trunk! This is a virtual switch between different VideoXLink systems for connecting two or more production networks which doesn’t require any IP configurations since it works as a regular switch on Layer 2.
When creating an XLink Layer 2 Data Trunk you simply select an available network port on the system and then connect a network cable to your existing network and this network is now available on the other VideoXLink systems included in the XLink Layer 2 Data Trunk you created. The IP based systems connected to the VideoXLink on the other side will now recieve the IP from your production network from the DHCP server and just like that everything works as it usually does in your production network, without any fuzz!
We don't believe in using cloud services for video transmission, especially when the data needs to be transferred from A to B. That's why the XLink is connecting directly between the links. This means that the only thing affecting the latency is the connection itself. By using the safety features inside the XLink tunnels, the transmission itself can be transmitted over ordinary Internet connections. Therefore means there's no need for pre-booked fiber connections for the transmission systems - the XLink handles it for you.
All of our links have the XLink Configuration GUI installed. By connecting to one link, you'll be able to access all of the links in your network as long as your other devices are online. You don't have to login into different pages - you'll find all settings in one place, regardless of where in the world your XLinks are located. And of course - the GUI is mobile-friendly!
Our VideoXLinks have been used all over the world, delivering ultra low-latency video. Some of our customers are shown below together with case studies from some of their projects.
